Hi there! Happy Monday everyone!

I’m here today to share with you a new challenge for the week.  How many times do you buy baking supplies and have them stored in your cabinet, just waiting to be used?
How many times do you stroll a local craft store, grocery store or wherever you love to shop and see some cute baking supplies such as:  cupcake liners…just calling your name?

not to be BAKED with but to be SCRAPPED with….

In my challenge, I created a layout using cupcake liners as my flowers. I found them as I was strolling through Hobby Lobby’s YUMMY Valentine’s aisle. I knew I had to use them somehow, some way, on a layout.  So go look in your cabinets, if you have liners, have fun! Or if you’re like me…and you just happen to be out strolling around your fave store…grab a pack and get to town creating.

You can use them in ANY way. Flatten them out and use them as a journaling block, use them as a circle embellishment for your page, a clock or as I did below….a flowerxoxo1nowm

I hope you’ve enjoyed my challenge..

have fun creating and I can’t WAIT to see what you come up with!

[...] Scrap for a Cure came up with this challenge for this last week of January. I didn’t think using cupcake liners would come out so cute, but hey, I clearly need to open my mind a bit more. I used mini cupcake liners I probably purchased at Michaels. I made the rest of the layout using Close To My Heart goodies – chipboard, papers, stickers, inks, and glitter. I especially love the letters. They come white, but rubbing them on an ink pad or stamping on them makes them perfect for everything. I can always get them to match! Oh, and another cute thing – I found wood for scrapping! Seriously. The neutral colored pieces you see are actually really thin pieces of wood. Neato! [...]
